At booth 24036, the US subsidiary of the ISTOBAL Group will show its portfolio of solutions for commercial vehicles that allow operators to maximize their efficiency in cleaning all types of trucks and trailers. On display will be the ISTOBAL HW’INTRAWASH, ISTOBAL’s revolutionary automatic equipment for cleaning and disinfecting the interior of trailers and box containers.
Internationally patented and easy to use and install, ISTOBAL HW'INTRAWASH guarantees a professional interior wash and an FSMA compliant disinfection of refrigerated and dry van trailers, as well as shipping containers. It also reduces water and chemical usage, as well as cleaning time as it can clean a 53’ trailer interior in as little as 3 minutes and clean and sanitize in 6 minutes. The system is an industrial alternative to manual wash. Compared to a manual wash process, the machine cleans 75% faster and facilitates control over chemical products.
ISTOBAL HW'INTRAWASH applies bactericide chemicals and guarantees a safe and controlled sanitization by using a high-pressure pumping system and a highly accurate chemical dosing system. It also washes out and collect dirt and debris inside a hopper.
Its multiple programs can be adapted to the requirements of speed or cleaning in the vehicle interior, allowing each unit to receive the wash program needed. ISTOBAL HW’INTRAWASH can work with two different chemical products to be selected depending on the type of cargo to wash and/or disinfect.

During the Global Cold Chain Expo ISTOBAL will also announce its best-selling commercial equipment, the ISTOBAL HW’PROGRESS, which is the most flexible commercial- vehicle rollover in the market. It was developed with high innovation, quality and reliability standards.
With an optimized design, it incorporates all the technological developments currently in demand by transport professionals and can be adapted to the specific requirements of each type of vehicle fleet: vans, trailer trucks, buses, tankers, garbage trucks, vehicles for the construction industry and other special vehicles.
This equipment has self-driven vertical brushes with an overlapping scrub function and shampoo injection via a dosing pump, flexible configuration by user with up to 15 programs, a touch-screen control panel, and a choice of service connections: energy chain, loop connection, or a fixed or swinging post.
It also has a high-density polyethylene horizontal brush equipped with a frequency converter to soften up and down movements, and 5 pressure levels to better follow vehicle profiles. Thanks to the model’s flexible configuration, up to 4 ‘obstacle-avoidance’ scans for wing mirrors and sunscreens are also possible.
ISTOBAL HW’PROGRESS also has available automatic pre-wash systems (high-pressure lower side, high-pressure sides and high- pressure top) a manual pre-wash gun and a wide range of optional extras.
